Former WSU bowling great and reining PBA Bowler of the Year Chris Barnes has been nominated for induction into the 2009 Class of the Wichita Sports Hall of Fame. Barnes hopes to join WSU head coach Gordon Vadakin, assistant coach Mark Lewis and former Shockers Mark Jensen and Rick Steelsmith as the fifth person in the Wichita Sports HOF from the WSU bowling program.
