* Michael Cowen, the fourth candidate for director of human resources, will be on campus and make a presentation from 9:30-10 a.m. today (Thursday, April 28) in 261 RSC. Faculty and staff are welcome to attend.

* Starting today (Thursday, April 28) PeopleAdmin will make changes to its software. The software will be updated, but the way our system operates will not change. All the tabs, lists, search bars and buttons will be where you expect them, just with a fresh, new look and feel. * Tuition assistance applications for fall semester are being accepted and are due to Human Resources no later than Friday, July 1. This deadline includes benefits-eligible, nonteaching applicants for employee tuition assistance, as well as applicants for the dependent/spouse tuition assistance program. Please note that the dependent/spouse application has been revised as the department head's signature is no longer required. Email notification will go out to applicants after the final deadline. * The State Health Plan is conducting a random dependent verification, performed by Aon Hewitt. Letters were mailed around March 31 to selected employees requesting dependent eligibility information. Follow the instructions on the letter to comply with their request. A follow-up email from donotreply@plan-smart.com will also be sent to your preferred email with the State Health Plan.
