In conjunction with the Spring Career Fair, Career Services provides faculty, staff and students the opportunity to donate to the Dress for Success Wichita organization. New, or nearly new, women's "in season" interview suits, skirt or pant suits are always requested. A donation box will be located at Career Services, 203 Grace Wilkie Hall, beginning Monday, March 2, until 9 a.m. Monday, March 9. The day of the Career Fair, Thursday, March 5, the office is closed. However, donations will be accepted from 4-7 p.m. during the Career Fair at Koch Arena. Your contributions will help Wichita women in need. A list of needed items is available at the link below. Additional accepted items include blouses and blazers, skirts and slacks, dresses, shoes, handbags/ briefcases, jewelry, scarves, unused cosmetics, and new undergarments including pantyhose (coffee, taupe, nude, navy or black). Inexpensive current items needed are travel-size deodorant and mascara. Always in need are unused travel-size soap/ shampoo/ body lotion/ toothpaste and toothbrushes.
