Watkins Visiting Professorship Lecture Series: Geology
Brenda Ekwurzel, senior climate scientist with the Union of Concerned Scientists Climate and Energy Program, will present "The Science Behind Extreme Weather Trends" at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, April 27).
Vicki Childers, chief of the National Geodetic Survey Observation and Analysis Division, will present "Gravity takes flight: A Journey From WSU to the Arctic, Antarctica and Afghanistan," at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, April 27).
Ekwurzel will present "Are Extreme Weather Events Becoming More Severe in Kansas and Across the Nation," at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 28; and Childers will present "The Arctic Ocean: A Tale of Two Basins" at 3 p.m. Friday, April 29.
