* Ablah Library will host a reading and book signing by Joan Larkin, this semester's visiting poet, at 3 p.m. today (Thursday, Feb. 26) on the lower level of the library. Refreshments will be served.

* Watkins Visiting Professor Sridhar Anandakrishnan from Penn State will present "Ice is hot: What's going on in Antartica and Greenland?" at 4 p.m. today (Thursday, Feb. 26) in 208 Hubbard Hall.

* The WSU telephone system will undergo planned software upgrades. The University Police Department should experience two brief outages in their telephone system between 10:30 p.m. today (Thursday, Feb. 26) to 1 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27. During that time, calls to the UPD must be sent from off-campus telephones or cell phones, and callers must dial (316) 858-7007 to connect with the UPD.

* The Morrison Hall Copy Center and Ahlberg Hall Copy Center will be closed today (Thursday, Feb. 26) and Friday, Feb. 27, for training.
