* Richard Gustafson, a member of the LIGO Gravity Wave detection collaboration at the LIGO Hanford Observatory in Washington state, will give a presentation in the Watkins Visiting Professorship Lecture Series: Physics, at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, May 4) in 128 Jabara Hall. Gustafson will present "Gravity Wave Detection: The Event of September 14, 2015, and Progress With Advanced LIGO."

* The final Chemistry Department Colloquium of the semester will feature graduate student presentations at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, May 4) in 224 McKinley Hall.

* The baseball team will host Kansas State at 6:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, May 4) at Eck Stadium. For tickets, call 978-FANS (3267).

* Our new Long Term Care (LTC) provider, ACSIA Partners, has extended its Open Enrollment opportunity to Tuesday, May 31. * The final event of the Pre-Tenure Club this semester will feature David Perlmutter, dean of College of Media and Communication at Texas Tech University, at 11 a.m. Friday, May 6, in 313, RSC. * University faculty awards will be presented during the spring general faculty meeting Friday, May 6, in the multipurpose room at Hughes Metropolitan Complex, Door N. There will be a reception at 2:30 p.m. The faculty awards ceremony will begin at 3 p.m. The general faculty meeting will begin immediately following the awards ceremony.
