* Tatiana Orel from Moscow State University will present "Fairy-Tales as Means of Developing Cultural Awareness" at the Curriculum and Instruction Research Colloquium at 3 p.m. today (Friday, Feb. 27) at Watermark Books and Cafe, 4701 E. Douglas.

* Student Activities Council presents comedian Ronnie Jordan at 8 p.m. today (Friday, Feb. 27) in the CAC Theater. Jordan's fusion of music and unique comedy creates a hilarious experience. Free for WSU students with ID, $2 for WSU faculty/staff, $3 for general public.

* The submission deadline for the Intent to Compete Form in the 2009 Shocker Business Plan Competition is Monday, March 2. To help students write their business plan, Palo Alto Software Inc. is sponsoring the competition with a free download of Business Plan Pro Academic Premier Edition software for each participant.
