Reminders, deadlines and events

* WSU's Anthropology Department and the United Way of the Plains are sponsoring a free public screening of "Dirty Paws," a documentary about homelessness and pet ownership in Wichita, at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, at The Orpheum Theatre, 200 N. Broadway.

* A presentation and Q&A session about the Kansas budget will feature Annie McKay, executive director of the Kansas Center for Economic Growth, from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, in 266 RSC. * The baseball team will host Creighton University at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, at Eck Stadium. Students can pick up free baseball tickets on the day of the game with a WSU ID at the Eck Stadium ticket office.
