* Textbook buyback has started this week at the University Bookstore. Bring in your gently used textbooks now to Saturday, May 14, during normal hours of operation, to receive cash for your books. Rental books are due back by Tuesday, May 17, with a $30 late fee per book charged after that date. A valid Shocker ID is required for all buyback transactions.

* Commencement ceremonies will be held on Saturday, May 14, in Charles Koch Arena. Undergraduate and graduate degrees will be conferred in college ceremonies. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?4762 for more information.

* The University Bookstore is offering some great deals for graduation. All alumni-themed products are 20 percent off, and professional gifts are also 20 percent off (ties, boxed WSU pens, padfolios, etc.). These offers are in store only now through Saturday, May 14. Also, noncustom diploma frames are 15 percent off in store and online at http://www.wsubooks.com through Saturday, May 21.

* STEMpact2020 has two AmeriCorps VISTA positions for the next school year (July 18, 2016-July 21, 2017), with an application deadline of Friday, June 3, 2016. STEMpact2020 is a citywide initiative to engage science, technology, engineering and math professionals in mentoring underserved youth, which is based out of the WSU College of Engineering.
