Reminders, deadlines and events
* If you are renting a locker in the Heskett Center, you must have it cleared out today (Friday, May 13) and bring your lock to Guest Services. If you plan to use the gym over the summer, make sure to purchase a summer membership and rent a locker. To buy your membership, visit the Guest Services desk in the Heskett Center.
* Feeling sick or need to meet a university requirement but not taking classes this summer? No problem! If you were an enrolled student in spring 2016, you can still use Student Health Services during the summer. Office visit fees are only $10, not including other services and pharmaceuticals. Call 978-3620 for an appointment.
* The Leadership Book Club is open to any student, faculty and staff interested in conversing with others about leadership. Those participating will receive a copy of "Creating Magic: 10 Common Sense Leadership Strategies From a Life at Disney," by Lee Cockerell. * Textbook buyback continues at the University Bookstore. Bring in your gently used textbooks now to Saturday, May 14, during normal hours of operation, to receive cash for your books. Rental books are due back by Tuesday, May 17, with a $30 late fee per book charged after that date. A valid Shocker ID is required for all buyback transactions.
* The University Bookstore is offering some great deals for graduation. All alumni-themed products are 20 percent off, and professional gifts are also 20 percent off (ties, boxed WSU pens, padfolios, etc.). These offers are in store only now through Saturday, May 14. Also, noncustom diploma frames are 15 percent off in store and online at http://www.wsubooks.com through Saturday, May 21.
* IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu Epsilon XI presents IEEE-HKN Awards. All are welcome to celebrate the success of EECS graduates and more at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 14, in 265 RSC.
* The Heskett Center has announced its intersession hours from Saturday, May 14-Saturday, June 4. The Heskett Center will be open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and 1-6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

* Join director Tom Wine in June for the WSU Summer Choir. The summer choir meets on Mondays and Wednesdays in June. Rehearsals are from 5-6:45 p.m. in C-107 Duerksen Fine Arts Center. The concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 30, in Wiedemann Hall. There is a $50 participation fee to be part of the program, which can be paid online prior to rehearsals at http://www.wichita.edu/j/?4765 or in person at the first rehearsal on Monday, June 6.
