* Wage and Hour training will be held from 3-4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 19, in 266 RSC. Wage and Hour Training is designed for supervisors and is highly beneficial for timekeepers, but anyone is allowed to attend. If you approve timesheets or input timesheets knowing the laws and polices is imperative. Learn about the law, WSU policies and even some best practices. Classes are informal, relaxed and can be fun. * Many universities have launched crowdfunding programs, and we are interested in hearing from you about crowdfunding opportunities that exist here at Wichita State. * The May meeting of the Unclassified Professional Senate is 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, in 142 RSC. The agenda is on the UP Senate website at http://www.wichita.edu/upsenate
* The Heskett Center has announced its intersession hours from now to Saturday, June 4. The Heskett Center will be open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and 1-6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
* The announced fee for Summer Choir is $50, but WSU faculty and staff can register on the College of Fine Arts Institute webpage for $35.
