Faculty and staff are needed to help with the 22nd Annual Kansas Science Olympiad at Wichita State University Saturday, April 4. Volunteers can sign up for a whole day, half day or a couple of hours. Volunteers are needed to help check in students for particular events, assist with grading, act as runners delivering supplies to event sites, etc. To volunteer, e-mail or call Amy Strong at amy.strong@wichita.edu or 978-6503 by Wednesday, April 1. The Kansas Science Olympiad is a statewide competition that helps make science fun. More than 1,000 middle- and high-school students are expected to participate.
