The Red Cross student organization is hosting a blood drive from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Thursday, June 9, in the Heskett Center lobby. With many donors vacationing and schools that host blood drives on break, summer is an especially difficult time to collect enough blood donations to meet the needs of patients. During the summer, the Red Cross typically sees two fewer blood donors at each blood drive. Free T-shirts will be available to all presenting donors. Donors are encouraged to complete their online health history questions the day of the drive to reduce wait time by 15 minutes.
