Reminders, deadlines, events and Shocker Blast

* An Institutional Review Board (IRB) Open Lab will be held at 10 a.m. today (Monday, June 13) in 405 Jardine Hall. The lab is for faculty, staff and students who have questions about IRB forms or about their study in general. These are come-and-go labs with no registration required. * The Office of Research will hold a workshop on "Developing Budgets: How to Avoid a Budget Battle before a Grant Goes Out," at 1 p.m. Friday, June 17, in 405 Jardine Hall. The workshop is intended to answer all your research budget questions. Register through myWSU using the myTraining channel. * A grand opening for the new Food Truck Plaza is scheduled at 11 a.m. Monday, June 20, across the street from the National Institute for Aviation Research. WuShock will attend. INTRUST Bank will give away free Kona Ice (snow cones) at the opening of the WSU Food Truck Plaza in appreciation of students and staff for everything they do for our community. * Green Zone Training is available for faculty and staff members who would like to learn more about working with student veterans. Sessions are scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, and 2 p.m. Monday, July 11. If you are interested in signing up for this training, go to myTraining on myWSU to register. * WSU faculty, staff and students are eligible for a free hearing screening in June and July. The clinic is located at the WSU Hughes Metropolitan Complex, Entrance T, at 29th and Oliver. Call 978-3289 to schedule an appointment.

* The Office of Diversity and Inclusion has compiled a list of single-occupancy restrooms and lactation rooms around campus.
