The Center for Teaching and Research Excellence will host the webinar "10 Ways to Improve Blended Learning" from noon-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, in the ITV classroom, Media Resources Center. Light refreshments will be provided. Blended learning, also known as hybrid learning, is the increasingly common mode of delivering content and engaging students in both online and face-to-face environments as part of a single course. Done well, blended courses maximize learning by capitalizing on the strengths of both kinds of environments while mitigating the negative aspects of each.
