WSU faculty and staff are encouraged to submit a proposal for a presentation or workshop to the Michael Tilford Conference on Diversity and Multiculturalism. Named after WSU's own Michael Tilford, the conference provides an opportunity for faculty, staff and administrators of Kansas Board of Regents institutions to share ideas and resources for building culturally-competent campus communities. The theme of the 2016 conference is "Cultivating Success: Why Belonging Matters," and will be held at Pittsburg State University on Oct. 24-25. WSU's Marche Fleming-Randle, senior assistant dean and assistant to the president for diversity, will be Monday evening's featured speaker. Proposals are due by Wednesday, Aug. 10.
