Reminders, deadlines and events
* The notice required for all employment advertising has changed. Per policy 3.02, the following notice of nondiscrimination must be printed on all university publications, including catalogs, newsletters, magazines, brochures, folders, posters and flyers. * WSU Foundation - Requisitions
In order for the WSU Foundation to meet your deadline of making the deposit to reimburse WSU accounts on Friday, June 24, requisitions are due at 5 p.m. today (Tuesday, June 21) so checks can be released on Thursday, June 23. Any check needs after June 23 for non-WSU accounts are due at 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, for the check run on Thursday, June 30. The WSU Foundation does not encumber funds, and we cannot write any checks for fiscal year 2016 after Thursday, June 30.
* WSU Foundation - Deposits
We want to be sure our donors are recognized in the proper gift clubs, so be sure to deliver all gift deposits for this fiscal year by noon Friday, July 1, for all checks dated Thursday, June 30, or prior.
* Plan to attend a retirement party for Patsy Selby from 3-4:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, in the Marcus Welcome Center. Remarks will be at 3:45 p.m. Selby, vice president for Finance and Administrative Services, has been with the WSU Foundation for 16 years.
* Real Men, Real Heroes, a local youth-mentoring nonprofit, will engage families in the Wichita area with a community day and benefit concert on Saturday, June 25. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?4831 for more information.
* WSU faculty, staff and students are eligible for a free hearing screening in June and July. The clinic is located at the WSU Hughes Metropolitan Complex, Entrance T, at 29th and Oliver. Call 978-3289 to schedule an appointment.
