Cross-cultural leadership training on Wednesday, June 22

Leading is not an option, but a requirement in our higher education professions. Regardless of a job title or position, one is often asked and expected to take on leadership roles. Leadership is the ability to mobilize and guide a group of people toward achieving a set of objectives or goals. However, to be an effective leader in today's workplace, the skills to interact with people from different cultural backgrounds and the ability to function in diverse cultural settings are essential. Cross-cultural leadership training facilitates the development of critical skills required for leadership in today's diverse work environment. Kennedy Musamali will present exciting tools you can use to interact and lead effectively in a culturally diverse work place from 2-3:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 22. Registration is available through myTraining.
