Reminders, deadlines and events
* Join us today (Wednesday, June 22) from 10-10:20 a.m. at the northwest corner of Ahlberg Hall, to learn about gardening and gardens on campus. We will have occasional demonstrations at this time on Wednesdays and helpful information to share.
* Join the Counseling and Testing Center for Keep Calm & Breathe On from 12:15-12:45 p.m. every Wednesday in 257 RSC. Drop in today (Wednesday, June 22) to build structured relaxation time into your life and learn techniques to do relaxation on your own. You will be led in meditation, mindfulness and relaxation practices. Drop in or call 978-3440 for more information.
* Remember to vote for WSU's Title IX Campaign. All you need is a valid WSU ID. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?4785 and log in to view all submissions and vote on your favorite one by Thursday, June 30. * This month, the data provided by CBIZ concerning new job titles and pay grades for our university staff was finalized after review and revision by Human Resources. This data was presented to the president's executive team and a project completion timeline was constructed (all dates are approximate). Go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?4834 for details.
* Student Involvement will host the fourth annual Back-to-School Bash from 6:30-9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, in the RSC courtyard. We are looking for other departments to help co-sponsor an inflatable or midway game. Volunteers for the event are also needed. This is a staff-run event, allowing all students to participate. Helping out the night of the bash is a great way to interact with students and welcome them back to campus. If you would like to be a co-sponsor, volunteer or help out in any way for this event, contact Nick Messing at nicholas.messing@wichita.edu.
* WSU Foundation - Requisitions
Any check needs after Thursday, June 23, for non-WSU accounts are due at 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, for the check run on Thursday, June 30. The WSU Foundation does not encumber funds, and we cannot write any checks for fiscal year 2016 after Thursday, June 30.
* WSU Foundation - Deposits
We want to be sure our donors are recognized in the proper gift clubs, so be sure to deliver all gift deposits for this fiscal year by noon Friday, July 1, for all checks dated Thursday, June 30, or prior.
