The Department of Sport Management will conduct a cooperative research project at the 2016 Air Capital Classic (ACC) at Crestview Country Club from Thursday, June 23-Sunday, June 26. This summer, the Department of Sport Management will conduct multiple research projects: economic impact study and sponsorship effectiveness study. The partnership between the Department of Sport Management and ACC since 2012 has been a great opportunity, not only for providing unique experiential learning experiences for students, but also engaging in a local sport organization to disseminate the knowledge of sport management. The Department of Sport Management will conduct similar cooperative research projects with Sporting Kansas City, Wichita Thunder, Wichita Sports Forum and the Valley Point Golf Course this fall.
