People of Faith for Peace (PfP) will host an educational panel discussion -- "Did World War I ever end? The 'War to end all Wars' has not concluded!" -- from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, in Sudermann Commons, Hughes Metropolitan Complex. The event is held in conjunction with the 97th anniversary of the Treaty of Versailles. Panel members are Wichita State history professors Jay Price, John Dreifort and Dee Starkey, Henry J. Allen Scholar. These historians will connect the dots between the treaty and the current, complicated situations in the Middle East. PfP is a partnership of clergy and lay leaders from Wichita who first gathered in February 2003 to voice concern and opposition to armed conflict in Iraq.
