As part of Wichita State University's commitment to providing timely emergency information to the campus community, Alertus Desktop Notifications are being added to WSU's Shocker Alert System. Alertus is a computer-based program that provides a full-screen alert when a Shocker Alert is issued. Alertus gives WSU one more visible notification avenue to deliver alerts to the WSU community. WSU will begin rolling out Alertus during the summer. The Alertus software will be installed on WSU-owned computers connected to the Active Directory automatically. For faculty and staff who have WSU-owned computers not connected to the Active Directory, you will need to contact the Technology HelpDesk to schedule an installation of Alertus.
