During the storm Saturday night, water flooded a section of the tunnel under the Alumni Drive walk, damaging chilled water lines. Physical Plant has been working to pump water out of the tunnels so they can determine the extent of the damage. Repairs are likely to be completed no earlier than Wednesday, July 6. The air conditioning in McKnight Hall, McKinley Hall and Duerksen Fine Arts Center has been compromised.

Second-session summer classes begin tomorrow (Tuesday, July 5). Faculty may use their discretion on whether classes should be held; however, other alternatives such as temporary relocation should be considered.

Once a better estimate of the time for repairs is known, it will be communicated to all affected parties.
