* As part of WSU's commitment to providing timely emergency information to the campus community, Alertus Desktop Notifications are being added to WSU's Shocker Alert System. The Alertus software will be installed on WSU-owned computers connected to the Active Directory automatically. For faculty and staff who have WSU-owned computers not connected to the Active Directory, you will need to contact the Technology HelpDesk to schedule an installation of Alertus. For more information, go to http://www.wichita.edu/alert and click on Alertus.

* Attention supervisors and present or future KPERS retirees -- effective Friday, July 1, KPERS employers and KPERS retirees will be assessed penalties for discussing prearrangements to return to work after retirement. Also, a $25,000 annual earnings cap will now apply to many KPERS retirees who were not previously affected. More information is available at http://www.kpers.org/employers/war.html.
