Reminders, deadlines and events

* The Instructional Design and Technology (IDT) team has created a simple template for instructors to use in their Blackboard classes. This template will be useful for anyone teaching fully online, hybrid or flipped courses, as well as face-to-face professors who use Blackboard. * A change in the way your Surency Vision deductions are withheld began on your Friday, July 1, paycheck. Moving forward, all vision deductions will be taken on a full, monthly basis on the first paycheck of each month. Please note that rates will not change from what was previously communicated during 2015 Open Enrollment.

* Green Zone Training is available for faculty and staff who would like to learn more about working with student veterans. Currently there is a session scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, July 11. * The Director of Facility Services position has been posted internally for any interested and qualified employee at WSU. Go to http://jobs.wichita.edu/postings/8702 to apply.

* SPTE request forms for the summer second four-week or eight-week courses are due to the Social Science Research Lab by Monday, July 11. You may mail the form to campus box 107 or hand carry it to 429 Lindquist Hall. If you need an SPTE request form, go to http://www.wichita.edu\sslab.

* Banner Purchase Requisitions for Requestors training, Sections 1 and 2, will be held from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, July 19-20. WSU purchasing procedures are reviewed as attendees learn to navigate the Banner forms. Both sections are required for WSU staff responsible for entering requisitions in to Banner. Current requestors are welcome to attend one or both sessions as a refresher. Registration is required. Sessions are posted on myWSU, myTraining.
