Reminders, deadlines and events

* Hundreds of people from around the country are expected to converge in Wichita this month for a week of anti-abortion rallies, protests and prayer vigils marking the 25th anniversary of the "Summer of Mercy" campaign. Some "Summer of Mercy" supporters will likely be on campus from 8 a.m.-noon Monday, July 18-Friday, July 22, in or around the RSC. You can expect the group to bring signs, speak and possibly do Bible readings. The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution guarantees the groups' rights to share their views in public places. If you have questions or concerns, contact Sara Morris, chief of University Police, at 978-3450 or sara.morris@wichita.edu.
