Reminders, deadlines and events
* Join us from 10-10:20 a.m. today (Wednesday, July 13) outside Ahlberg Hall, north of Student Health, to learn about gardening and gardens on campus. We have an experimental vegetable garden on the northwest corner of Ahlberg. We are experimenting with raised beds, gardening with recycled containers, vertical gardening, herbs and perennial fruits and vegetables.
* Banner Purchase Requisitions for Requestors training, Sections 1 and 2, will be held from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, July 19-20. WSU purchasing procedures are reviewed as attendees learn to navigate the Banner forms. Both sections are required for WSU staff responsible for entering requisitions in to Banner. Current requestors are welcome to attend one or both sessions as a refresher. Registration is required. Sessions are posted on myWSU, myTraining. * WSU students, faculty and staff may purchase virtual parking permits (ePermits) for the upcoming 2016-17 academic year. The new system features license plate recognition (LPR) technology and that eliminates the need for color-coded hangtags and stickers for parking enforcement. A single ePermit can be used for up to five vehicles, including motorcycles and rental cars, as needed, provided only one of the vehicles is on campus at the same time. * If you want to receive printed materials of the new Plan Year 2017 health insurance that will be presented during open enrollment, go to https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/OEmaterials and complete the required fields by Friday, July 22. During the week of Sept. 26, this information will also be posted on the State Employee Health Plan website at http://www.kdheks.gov/hcf/sehp/default.htm
