The WSU Alumni Association is hosting a Shocker event featuring soccer, food and fun as Sporting KC takes to the field against the San Jose Quakes on Sunday, Oct. 23. The game, which begins at 3 p.m., will be at Children's Mercy Park, One Sporting Way in Kansas City, Kansas Come early to tailgate at 1 p.m. on Sprint Plaza, located on the west side of Children's Park. Tailgate fare will include grilled chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, baked beans and nonalcoholic beverages. The cost for a game ticket and tailgate access for WSU Alumni Association members is $50. The cost for nonmembers is $55. Please RSVP by Monday, Aug. 1, to sean.zeller@wichita.edu.
