Wichita State hosting event for prospective students to learn what it means to be a Shocker

Wichita State University is hosting Shocker Saturday, a free event for prospective students, at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 23, in 142 Rhatigan Student Center.

The event will include a presentation about opportunities at Wichita State, a student panel to answer questions, a campus tour and a closing session about life as a Shocker.

Shocker Saturday is open to all prospective students, including incoming freshman, adult learners and transfer students.

Check in begins at 12:30 p.m., followed by the presentation, panel and tours. The closing session begins at 3:45 p.m.

Shocker Saturday gives students the opportunity to learn more about the university, hear from their peers and tour campus.
