* The Wichita Medical Research and Education Foundation (WMREF) is pleased to announce a Collaborative Investigator Initiated Research (CIIR) funding opportunity of $15,000. The purpose of this research program is to provide investigators with short-term funding (seed money) leading to successful application to larger and new funding sources in the areas of social/behavioral, biological, genetic or environmental determinants of disease and/or health, either physical or mental, across the life span. * A biannual orientation program has been scheduled for new, benefits-eligible university support staff and unclassified professional staff on Tuesday, Aug. 2.
