Attention search chairs, search committee members and department administrators -- there will be a veterans preference training class from 3-4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, in 256 RSC. This class explains the veterans preference policy and how it affects searches. It also gives a basic overview of interpreting military documents and provides translation tools to help understand what your veteran applicant is trying to tell you.
