Save the date for Academic Convocation at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, in Wilner Auditorium. Convocation will feature a student speaker, Stephanie Merritt, and a keynote address from Alex Sheen, founder of "because I said I would," the international social movement and nonprofit dedicated to the betterment of humanity through promises made and kept. New and current students have the opportunity to compete for $250 scholarship prizes by completing projects inspired by the themes within the WSU Reads book, "Start Something That Matters," and the 2016 Convocation theme, "Find Your Story."
