* The University Methodist Church lot by 21st and Yale will be closed tomorrow (Thursday, Sept. 1).

* WSU will soon open a fixed number of parking spaces in Lot 5 (the orange-permitted Shocker Hall parking lot east of the Corbin Education Center) to commuter students a on a first come, first served basis. Students who have purchased ePermits and would like to park in Lot 5 must complete the form at http://www.wichita.edu/lot5. If selected for the exchange, students must then park only in Lot 5 and may no longer park in green or green/yellow lots on campus during enforcement periods.

* The Cultural Ambassador Program (CAP) series "Travel the World with CAP" continues from noon-1 p.m. today (Wednesday, Aug. 31) in 142 RSC. Join us as we learn about Armenia from Tadeh Avanessian. * Men wear red heels and ladies wear sneakers on a walk around Wichita State to bring awareness to rape, sexual assault and gender violence. Join Student Activities Council (SAC) and Interfraternity Council (IFC) at 5:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Aug. 31) by the RSC east courtyard to take your stand. * Students who use their college library earn better grades. Learn about collections and services at University Libraries at an open orientation from 4-4:45 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Sept. 1). * Spend your night with Student Activities Council (SAC) watching a movie with some delicious buttery popcorn and drinks. "Now You See Me" and "Now You See Me 2" will be the double feature starting at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2, in the CAC Theater. The second movie will start at about 9:15 p.m. Both movies are rated PG-13. This event is free for all WSU students with WSU ID, $5 for general admission, $3 for staff and faculty, and $1 for children 12 and under, cash or check only.
