Student Government Association is currently accepting applications for the following positions on Senate: one Fine Arts Senator, one Veteran Senator, three At-Large Senators, two Business Senators, two Health Professions Senators, two Graduate Senators and four Freshman Senators. Applications can be accessed through http://www.wichita.edu/SGAopenpositions and are to be submitted to the SGA office in 219 RSC by 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2. Any questions regarding the application or what being a senator entails may be directed to Student Body Vice President Taben Azad at sga.vice.president@wichita.edu. SGA also is accepting applications for Shocker Freshman Council, which are to be completed and submitted to Chief of Staff Katie Deutsch at sga.chiefofstaff@wichita.edu by 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1.
