Health ICT sponsored a Public Health Sister City event designed to bring together a diverse delegation of Wichita leaders from government, health care, economic development and public health sectors. A Wichita delegation visited Tulsa in May to learn best practices and lessons regarding the role of the public health department in their community. In August, 10 Tulsa leaders visited Wichita to learn about what's happening in Wichita and continue sharing best practices. The Center for Public Health Initiatives provided logistic and facilitation support for the event.
