* Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace is a new interactive training that includes activities and discussion focused on recognizing microaggressions, understanding social identity and the matrix of oppression, learning how to get past stereotypes and prejudices, understanding the definition of racism and learning ways to address issues and give feedback. The Offices of Diversity and Inclusion and Human Resources will present this new training course from 2-4 p.m. today (Thursday, Sept. 1). Registration is available through myTraining.

* WSU will hold a free flu clinic on Tuesday, Oct. 18, in 266 RSC, as part of the state sponsored flu clinics running from September through Oct. 31. Remember, free flu shot clinics are available to members and spouses enrolled in the State Employee Health Plan (SEHP) ages 18-65. Flu shots are also covered by the health plan. * WSU is partnering with area food trucks to feature a rotation of vendors weekdays at the Food Truck Plaza, located across the street from the National Institute for Aviation Research. * Information Technology Services (ITS) is replacing TechHelp ticketing system with TeamDynamix. When you contact ITS Support Services, they record your request and TeamDynamix sends you an email with the ticket number and information. You may respond to the email with questions or additional information. ITS, Media Resources Center and Financial Operations are currently using the TeamDynamix ticketing application and other groups on TechHelp will be migrating later. * Join Angie Zeorlin, WSU's assistant director for scholarships, during her annual Searching for Scholarships Workshop from 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, at Hughes Metropolitan Complex. Much of the information is intended for new or prospective college students.
