The Brown Bag Diversity Discussion, "Vote: Steps to Building a Civic Culture," will be held from noon-1:30 p.m. tomorrow (Wednesday, Sept. 7) in 266 RSC. Hear from Davis Hammet, president of Loud Light, an organization that prides itself on engaging, educating and empowering leaders from underrepresented populations to build community power that has an impact on decision makers. Davis will inspire students to get involved and learn about local power, community organizing, voter disenfranchisement and, most importantly, building a civic culture.
