Thousands of Kansas students in 4th through 12th grade classrooms are learning the basics of investing and preparing to create their first portfolio by investing a hypothetical $100,000 in real companies with real prices. Many Kansas teachers have chosen to participate in The Stock Market Game (SMG) program, an investor education program designed for teams of students in public or private Kansas classrooms.
