The Center for Teaching and Research Excellence will host the webinar "Increasing Cognitive Engagement in the Online Classroom" from noon-1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 26, in the Media Resources Center's ITV Classroom. This webinar will introduce you to empirically supported instructional strategies that engage students, increase their interest and promote active learning. The advice is relevant not just to strictly online courses, but also to blended/hybrid courses and even to traditional face-to-face classes.
