* The Fall 2016 Chemistry Department Colloquium continues at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 14) in 224 McKinley Hall. Tomorrow's guest speaker is professor Judy Kim from the University of California at San Diego. The title of her talk is "Living on the Edge with Membrane Proteins." * WSU is committed to a learning, living and working environment that is safe and free of sex discrimination. Title IX is a federal law enacted in 1972 that prohibits sex discrimination in all university student services and academic programs. Sessions will cover information about Title IX from 2-3:30 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Sept. 15) in 319 RSC. Additional sessions are scheduled throughout the fall semester. Registration is available through myTraining.
* This is a notification to remind all managers that it is the middle of the review period for all USS and non-teaching UP annual performance evaluations. Unless you have already done so, please log in to myPerformance in myWSU to add comments, notes and any other documentation for your employee's performance evaluation(s). * The Office of Academic Affairs in collaboration with Student Involvement is seeking applications from teaching faculty to serve as service-learning scholars for the 2016-17 academic year. The Service-Learning Faculty Scholars program has been designed to empower committed service-learning faculty to cultivate and support interest in service learning in their fellow faculty members and through their classes and college.
