* The McNair Scholars Program will host an informational meeting from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, in 228 Hubbard Hall. Students interested in attending graduate school and eventually pursuing a doctoral degree can pick up applications to participate in the 2009/2010 program. Lunch is provided with an RSVP required at 978-3139 by 5 p.m. Monday, March 30.

* A funeral mass will be held for Diane Barnes, recently retired associate registrar, at 11 a.m. today (Thursday, March 26) at the Church of the Magdalen, 12626 E. 21st St. North. Please note that the Registrar's Office will be closed today from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

* The current episode of "Wichita State & The World" focuses on Les Anderson's Greensburg Rebirth project. The show will be rebroadcast at 8 p.m. today (Thursday, March 26) and 7 p.m. Sunday, March 29. http://www.wichita.edu/wichitastateandtheworld.

* Schedule an appointment with a TIAA-CREF consultant to discuss your financial situation on a personal basis. Representatives will be on campus from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. in 313 RSC Wednesday, April 22, and Thursday, April 23. Call (800) 732-8353 for an appointment.

* Faculty and staff are needed to help with the 22nd Annual Kansas Science Olympiad at WSU Saturday, April 4. Volunteers can sign up for a whole day, half day or a couple of hours. To volunteer, e-mail or call Amy Strong at amy.strong@wichita.edu or 978-6503 by Wednesday, April 1.
