Wichita State is hosting its inaugural Ad Astra Conference, a two-day event bringing together first-generation students from universities across Kansas. The free conference, Sept. 23-24, will include networking, social activities and workshops. Students can share common challenges and opportunities for how to better understand the college experience and society as a whole.
