Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to bring their pets to a Pet-A-Pet event from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, March 28, on the RSC courtyard and patio. All animals must be up-to-date on vaccinations; owners must clean up after their pets; dogs must be on a 6-foot leash/no flexi-leads allowed; and no animals in heat. The event features animals from Tanganyika Wildlife Park, Max from the Sedgwick County Sheriff's K-9 unit, a mini-obstacle course, a look-like-your-pet contest, best trick contest and decorating pet-shaped cookies. There will be prizes and more. Admission is free to WSU students with ID, $2 for faculty and staff, $3 for general public, 50 cents for children 12 and under, and pets get in free. Bringing a pet to the event is not required.
