Official title changes

As a result of the classification and market study conducted by WSU and CBIZ, which was implemented in July, most 'official' titles changed in Banner (our record-keeping system). You will recall that these titles are used to group like positions and are not visible to anyone other than Human Resources. Having this compensation structure is a key element in our ability to deliver compensation services to the university.

No changes were made to what we refer to as 'directory' titles; the titles you see when looking in the university directory. If a supervisor or budget officer wants to change the directory title of an employee to match the official title in Banner, an OHR 200 (http://www.wichita.edu/j/?5022) will need to be completed indicating the requested title change.
