Colvin appointed Accessibility Coordinator

Deltha Q. Colvin, associate vice president of Student Affairs and director of Special Programs, has been appointed Accessibility Coordinator to oversee and coordinate the university's compliance with accessibility requirements for blind students.

WSU recently entered into an agreement with the National Federation of the Blind to take steps to improve access for blind students and to create an environment where blind students have equal access to learning opportunities and resources. Colvin will coordinate with the Office of Disability Services to oversee compliance with the agreement's digital and non-digital technology requirements.

The Office of Special Programs, which Colvin directs, administers 15 programs, including the largest and most comprehensive constellation of TRIO programs on a college campus, three Gear Up programs and the Office of Disability Services.
