AEGD program is here to serve you

The Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD program at WSU is always looking for ways to make it easier for WSU faculty and staff to receive treatment at their patient-serving dental clinic. Currently, some WSU employees are taking advantage of using payroll deduction to pay for major dental services, which include crowns, root canals, bridges, partials, dentures and implants. And as a Delta Dental of Kansas provider, the WSU employee can opt for the payroll deduction plan after insurance pays.

Effective Sept. 16, patients are able to pay any remaining balances via the Market Place at http://www.wichita.edu/aegdpatientpayment. Patients can also request to set up automatic payments for dental services through their checking account or credit card, allowing them to pay for major services over a set amount of time. A request form must be completed and approved after an initial comprehensive exam and treatment plan presentation.

While WSU students do not qualify for payroll deduction, they do receive a 15 percent discount for dental services by presenting a Shocker ID. Students can also opt for online payment of balances and automatic payments.

If you would like more information regarding these various services, contact Natalie Olmsted, clinic director, at 978-8349 or natalie.olmsted@wichita.edu.
