* Join the University Bookstore for a Patio Sale from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. today (Thursday, Sept. 22) on the RSC north patio and find great deals on your favorite Shocker gear.
* Department chairs, budget officers, administrative assistants, executive assistants and college business managers are invited to attend the Administrative Processes & Procedures Q&A session from 3-4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, in 209 Hubbard Hall. * A memorial service for Jim Snyder will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, in 127 Jabara Hall. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his name to the WSU Foundation for support of psychology students. http://www.wichita.edu/j/?5028
* The university schedule for the holiday closedown memo has been corrected. It incorrectly stated that "Staff may use accumulated vacation leave or their *2017 discretionary day during this closedown period or will be given appropriate work assignments by their supervisor." It now correctly states, "Staff may use accumulated vacation leave or their *2016 discretionary day during this closedown period or will be given appropriate work assignments by their supervisor." * Last year, nearly 300 WSU faculty and staff attended one of the WSU Days at Kansas Leadership Center (KLC). We will offer the next WSU Day from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, at KLC. The day provides a general orientation to KLC ideas and their applicability to our settings at WSU, presented in a highly interactive style.
