Summer enrollment is right around the corner. Students will soon have the opportunity to submit applications for summer financial aid. These applications will be available both in the Office of Financial Aid, Jardine Hall Room 203, and online at http://www.wichita.edu/finaidforms, beginning Monday, March 30. All students seeking summer financial aid must complete the WSU Summer Aid Application. The priority filing date for the summer aid aplication is April 24.

To be considered for summer federal financial aid you must be enrolled in at least three credit hours. For the summer term, full-time status is six hours, while half-time status is three hours.

Funding for summer financial aid is based on the 2008-2009 FAFSA application. If you are planning on attending classes during the 2009 summer semester and did not complete the 2008-2009 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), you should do so immediately. Also, students should be aware that their application will not be processed until they are enrolled in summer classes. Enrollment for the summer 2009 session begins April 6.
