Wichita State's Rie Bloomfield Organ Series presents the first Distinguished Guest Artist for its 30th anniversary season at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday, Sept 27). David Briggs, international concert organist and composer, artist-in-residence at St. James Cathedral in Toronto, improvises the accompaniment on the 1986 Marcussen Organ to the 1925 silent film, Phantom of the Opera, with Lon Chaney. All concerts feature the "Conversation with the Artist," an onstage interview of the performer by WSU's Lynne Davis. Admission is free for students with WSU ID.
