* Find out how Student Health Services can help you from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Monday, Sept. 26) on the first floor, RSC.
* Portions of some campus parking lots have been reserved today (Monday, Sept. 26) and tomorrow (Tuesday, Sept. 27). One hundred of 282 stalls will be closed in parking lot 19E on the east side of Eck Stadium today (Monday, Sept. 26). Seventy of 226 stalls will be closed in lot 24 south of 17th Street, and 50 of 282 stalls will be closed in lot 19E on the east side of Eck Stadium tomorrow (Tuesday, Sept. 27).
* Join WSU and the Wichita community on Friday, Sept. 30, for a night of art exploration and discovery. The night will kick off with a reception at 5:30 p.m. at Cadman Art Gallery, and then participants can take the Wichita City Bus downtown to enjoy the festivities there. Pre-registration for bus tickets is required by tomorrow (Tuesday, Sept. 27), and can be found on http://www.wichita.edu/sac. Tickets for the bus will be available for pick up after registration in 216 RSC during office hours.
* All Shockers are invited to help wrap-up the Academic Convocation events by participating in a service project focused on fighting hunger. Wichita State has pledged to pack 8,000 meals as part of Numana Inc., an international hunger relief organization from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, in the RSC third floor Shirley Beggs Ballroom. * The International Student Union is calling for chefs and volunteers for Fall InterFest 2016, the international food festival from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, in the Neff Hall court yard. * Be part of Wichita State's biggest service event from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1. A kick off for Wu's Big Event V will begin in the Marcus Welcome Center with check-in, speakers and information about the agencies being served. * Assistant Professor Rachel Showstack is looking for Spanish-speaking students of Mexican family background to participate in a research study about the maintenance of the Spanish language in Kansas.
